On 3 August 2026 the first job on the board was not a local oil change. It was a sealed UK crate that had to be opened, photographed, and rolled into a clean bay before anyone touched a fastener.
That is shop work and logistics in the same hour. The car had crossed from a London lockup. The crate wood still smelled like the warehouse. We swept the plastic, set the battery on a tender, and only then booked the diagnostic.
Midsummer 2024 we had already learned not to stack a show-bound Mini next to a dripping AC job. Candlemas 2022 was the winter we first measured how long a right-hand drive sat if the crate waited in a damp corner. Through 2019 the English cars still arrived, just with less paperwork and more surprises.
If you are the person who packed that lockup, you already know the last night is half packing and half cleaning the floor you are about to leave. We keep that in mind when a crate hits Trenton.
