Midsummer 2024 we cleared bay two for a car that was heading the other way, back toward a London weekend show. The lift had to be clean. The floor had to be dry. A stray bead of gear oil on a show car is a letter you do not want to write.
We treated it like a tenant handover. Tools away, mats up, one last pass with the shop vac. That is the same discipline a London crew uses when a flat that held spare wings has to be empty by Sunday.
The car left on time. The next Monday the bay took a local Volvo without anyone asking what the stain on the concrete used to be.
